Application is similar enough to acid systems that no major process changes are required. Conversion is fast and easy, and can be accomplished within days.

The two-component system includes alkaline and surfactant packages that are designed to work with all commonly used lubricant technologies. Improved surfactant chemistry means dramatically reduced alkaline staining tendencies if the process is interrupted.
