Like the canvas of a painting, the white base coat lays the foundation for application of the attention-getting colorful inks that distinguish an aerosol can or other rigid metal container. The varnish topcoat protects the vivid colors and makes them shine.

White Basecoat
PPG's new white base coat for use with UV-cured inks affords superior UV ink and varnish adhesion. We believe it sets a new performance benchmark because it goes further and accomplishes everything wanted or needed in a white base coat:
