Logotype and Signature/Constraints - Tagline
When the
Corporate Tagline is part of any
Signature it must be formatted as a
Descriptive Line. If the
Signature already utilizes a
Descriptive Line, then the
Corporate Tagline may be formatted as a
Slogan. Any tagline other than
“Bringing innovation to the surface.™” must be formatted as a
Slogan.
The
Corporate Tagline should remain in English because the concept of bringing something “to the surface” has a double meaning in English that does not translate into other languages. Two exceptions, French and Chinese, are because in France all advertisements must be in the French language as dictated by law, and in China a majority of people do not speak English. The approved French translation is
“Innover pour valoriser les surfaces(MC)”, and the approved Chinese translation is
创新,如你所见. When possible, the French and Chinese translations should accompany the English version.
