Teslin substrate forms exceptionally strong laminating bonds in multi-layer cards. It can be printed using nearly any combination of fixed and variable printing methods. For example, you can print fixed information via offset or flexo printing, and then print variable information using thermal transfer, laser or ink jet.
These unique characteristics combine to make Teslin substrate the standard by which card systems are measured in terms of durability and cost performance.

Standard Card Construction
By incorporating easy-to-print Teslin® substrate into polycarbonate (PC) composite security cards, lamination bond strength and the ability to laser engrave are retained, while card flex life is extended (six to ten times greater than all-PC cards) and overall card construction costs are reduced significantly.
