Ron Yarnell Elected to NATM Board of Directors
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – February 5, 2010 – Ron Yarnell, PPG Commercial Coatings, OEM sales manager, has been elected to the 2010-2013 term on the board of directors of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM). Election results were announced January 21, by Michael Skoglund, NATM, vice president, nominations committee chairman. Yarnell will officially begin his term at the board of directors meeting March 3, in Reno, NV, to be held in conjunction with the NATM’s annual national convention.
Yarnell has been with PPG for more than 25 years, the past nine years with the PPG Commercial Coatings group as an OEM sales manager. He is involved with marketing and sales development for the trailer, cryogenic, ground support equipment, and oil and gas mobile equipment industries. He is also active with the Truck Maintenance Council. Prior to his election to the NATM board, he served on the organization’s convention committee.
The NATM has been dedicated to improving trailer safety and performance for more than 20 years. The organization represents manufacturers that produce light- and medium-duty trailers which are towed behind vehicles. NATM members include more than 435 trailer manufacturers as well as a broad range of suppliers – including PPG – of products and services to the industry.
