PPG to Display at Upcoming NATM and TMC Shows

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – January 31, 2012 – PPG Commercial Coatings has announced it will be exhibiting at two major trade shows—the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) National Convention and Trade Show and the Technology Maintenance Council (TMC) 2012 annual meeting. The NATM event will be held February 7-11, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The TMC exhibition, under the umbrella of the American Trucking Association (ATA), will be held February 20-23, in Tampa, Florida, at the Tampa Convention Center.

At each event, the PPG display will focus on the company’s extensive lineup of anti-corrosion products. These include primers and paints that keep transportation manufacturers’ assets looking their best as well as performance coatings designed to meet a wide range of durability characteristics. PPG representatives will also discuss the PPG corrosion audit, a free service that allows PPG to tailor an anti-corrosion strategy for a manufacturer’s specific product requirements.

“We’re very pleased to participate in these events,” says Paul Catanzarite, PPG, manager, commercial OEM and national accounts. “It gives us the opportunity to meet with the manufacturers and to understand their requirements, while at the same time we can introduce them to products they can immediately apply to their work. They can also take advantage of our free corrosion audit that provides solutions tailored to their particular needs.”

The NATM is dedicated to improving trailer safety and performance. The organization represents manufacturers that produce light- and medium-duty trailers for towing behind vehicles. The annual TMC trade show is regarded as a “must-attend event” for all fleet equipment and maintenance professionals.

The ATA, celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, serves and represents the interests of the trucking industry. Its annual meeting functions as a transportation technology exhibition of the latest advances and offerings in the industry.
