GEMSTONE COLOR COLLECTION 300 TINT LINE
The basic Gemstone Collection (all colors except black) includes a full tint line of transparent colors. When these resin dispersible, “stir-in” tints are added to PPG’s high-performance ELECTROCLEAR® 2800 resin system, a UV color-stable, “dye-like” finish is achieved that will truly enhance your decorative application.
CREATE YOUR OWN COLOR PALETTE
Use your own creativity to produce colors of your choice by blending any combination of the nine Gemstone Collection Tints. The baths can also be blended to form new colors while maintaining bath stability allowing for maximum usage of the materials.
o OPAQUE COLORS
The transparent Gemstone Color Collection Tints can be made opaque with the addition of inert ingredients forming “pastes” for tinting.
o MATTE FINISHES
As a bonus, Opal Matte can be added to any color to create a matte finish. The gloss can be reduced from “full” to <20° on a 60° meter.
o BLACK GLOSS OPTIONS
Black “pastes” are available in three standard gloss levels: high (>75°), medium (40°-60°), and low (20°-30°).
