Performance and Learning Plan (P&LP)
The P&LP is your fundamental online tool for establishing your career growth goals and the method for achieving them.
By focusing on the business deliverables (the “what”) of your job, and the success factors (the “how”) of your job, you and your supervisor will create a roadmap for your development and growth detailing specific goals as well as learning opportunities.
The plan is a “living” document and will change as your role, priorities and goals change.
My Learning Connection
This electronic tool is your personalized site for learning and development resources. The application will provide you with a wide variety of developmental options linked to the PPG success factors. Topics range from product training to environment, health, and safety, to leadership and ethics.
e-Learning and Classroom Learning
Thousands of employees have participated in both classroom and e-learning training over the past year. Topics range from communication skills to production to lean manufacturing.
Our feedback program allows you to obtain comments from your teammates, peers, managers, and customers regarding your performance. Based on this information, you can determine your strengths and opportunities for growth to help you develop your Performance and Learning Plan.
PPG provides an opportunity for employees to further their education. PPG pays a large percentage of eligible costs for tuition and required text books for employees who have been approved for this benefit.
