The EHS team’s responsibilities include air and water pollution control; waste management; regulatory compliance; and a variety of engineering projects that support plant compliance processes. The new hire position would be part of the EHS team that provides Environmental Engineering program development and would have the opportunity to travel to facilities in other PPG Business areas (e.g. Chemicals, Glass and Coatings).
The EHS new hire position will begin with an approximately one year assignment at a selected training location. This could be either a manufacturing or research and development location. The objective of the training period is to prepare the candidate for work as part of PPG’s Environmental, Health and Safety team.
After successful completion of the new hire period, the incumbent will be assigned to a PPG location which could include any facility serving PPG’s major business units including Coatings, Chemicals, and Fiber Glass manufacturing facilities.
