THE PPG ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Traditionally in mid August, PPG holds a 4 day orientation program for all of our new hires over the past year. During this program new hires will attend a variety of events including:
SBU overviews by PPG Vice Presidents
Tours of Pittsburgh area PPG plants
Panel discussions in your chosen field
Breakout training sessions on using PPG tools to manage your career
Dinner with a host from your SBU
Social Events and Networking
This event is held in Pittsburgh close to our corporate headquarters. Previous new hires have found this to be an invaluable opportunity to gain exposure through networking amongst other new hires and business leaders.
