To preserve the impact of the PPG Identity, it cannot be altered or distorted in any way. When working with designers, printers, sign manufacturers and other suppliers, use only the digital electronic art from files (for the Macintosh and PC formats) that are available from this web site in the Logotypes and Signatures section.
The modifications shown here are common ways in which the PPG Logo and Signature are used improperly. As always, if you have questions about the proper use of the logo, contact globalidentity@ppg.com.

Example D: When the corporate logo is used with photographic/illustrative material, it must be positioned away from the focal point of that material. |
|
Example E: To create the corporate logo, the initials "PPG" have been combined in a unique way. Under no circumstances may the initials themselves be designed, arranged, or sized to create a different corporate logo or graphic device. When the name "PPG" is used outside the context of the registered corporate logo, the letters must appear in the same typeface, weight and size as the associated typo-graphic material. |

Example H: The logo is too big. Do not alter the relationships of the logo and logotype. They must be kept in the prescribed proportions. |
