PPG Directors Set Dividend

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 2005--The board of directors of PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of 47 cents a share, payable Sept. 12 to shareholders of record Aug. 10.

PPG has paid uninterrupted dividends since 1899.
