2008 PPG Automotive Refinish course offerings

More than 11,000 students trained in 2007


STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, April 28, 2008 –
More than 11,000 students participated in PPG Industries' (NYSE:PPG) automotive refinish training courses in 2007. The classes, ranging in subjects from technical training to business management and more, were held at PPG training centers throughout North America and in affiliate locations in more than 100 key markets.

According to Bill Troyer, PPG manager, refinish training, North America, ongoing training and support is critical for the ever-changing refinish industry. “PPG’s commitment to training may be the largest in the industry,” Troyer said. “Providing and delivering training programs that offer our business partners and customers resources with which to achieve their goals is an investment that pays off for everyone involved.”

In line with this philosophy, PPG is offering a variety of classes throughout 2008 in categories including:
