PPG announces North American marketing organization appointments
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, July 30, 2008 –
PPG Industries’ (NYSE: PPG) automotive refinish business announced the appointments of Randy Cremeans
as director of marketing, collision United States and Canada (USCA), and Mary Kimbro
as director, global color.
Cremeans, who was manager, collision segment USCA, will be responsible for leading marketing strategies and initiatives for the North American collision segments. He has more than 7 years’ experience with PPG in positions such as sales business development manager, global platform manager and global director collision segment. Prior to joining PPG, Cremeans worked for 14 years in various sales and marketing positions in the coatings industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management information systems from Syracuse University.
Kimbro, who was director, collision marketing USCA, will focus on innovative global strategies to continue strengthening PPG’s color position. She has more than 20 years’ experience with PPG in positions such as technical product development chemist, training and customer service manager, MVP operations and collision center marketing director, regional sales manager and product manager, and she was awarded a patent for a new coatings technology as well as PPG’s Presidential Award for significant contributions. Kimbro earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Westminster College and a master of business administration degree from Baldwin Wallace College.
