PPG announces MVP Business Solutions conference is sold out

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Sept. 3, 2009 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) automotive refinish business announced today that the MVP Business Solutions Fall Conference, scheduled for Sept. 13-15 in Nashville, is sold out.

“The positive response to this conference has just been overwhelming,” said Jim Berkey, director, PPG business solutions. “We’re very pleased collision center owners and managers have so enthusiastically embraced this important learning opportunity. Obviously, we regret we can’t accommodate everyone who wants to attend; however, to optimize the benefits of these workshops, we have to limit registration to allow for more effective interaction and group participation.”

The conference will center on the theme of “Accelerating Performance” and will focus on helping shop owners and managers to develop and use leadership skills to implement change and maximize business performance.

Attendance at MVP Business Solutions conferences is open to owners and managers of collision centers that use PPG Automotive Refinish products.
