HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 18, 2010 – PPG Aerospace finisher Jerri Hopkins applies SURFACE SEAL(R) rain-repellent coating to the glass outboard panel of a Beechcraft King Air windshield at PPG Industries' (NYSE:PPG) Huntsville, Ala., plant. The hydrophobic coating enables windshields to shed water during wet conditions to afford visibility for pilots without the need for windshield wipers. PPG supplies King Air windshields to Hawker Beechcraft Corp. for installation into new aircraft and spares and rebuilds them for aftermarket sales to operators. A rebuilt King Air windshield is on display at the PPG Aerospace exhibit at booth 4053 during the National Business Aviation Association convention Oct. 19-21 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Surface Seal is a registered trademark of PPG Industries Ohio, Inc.
