PPG to sponsor FenderBenderLive.com 2012 NACE and SEMA event coverage

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio, Oct. 9, 2012 – PPG Industries' (NYSE:PPG) automotive refinish business will again be the exclusive sponsor of FenderBenderLive.com, FenderBender magazine's media portal for collision industry news. This is the second year PPG has sponsored the portal, which will provide comprehensive online coverage of the 2012 NACE and SEMA shows – two of the industry's biggest annual events.

FenderBenderLive.com is set to launch Oct. 10, the first day of The International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) in New Orleans. It will feature extensive coverage of this event and the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) Show in Las Vegas, such as the latest news and interviews with industry professionals, celebrities, exhibitors and staff, as well as galleries of photos from the event floors.

"After a successful venture in 2011, PPG is thrilled to once again be the exclusive sponsor of FenderBenderLive.com," said Randy Cremeans, PPG marketing director, collision segment, U.S. and Canada. "FenderBenderLive.com is a critical channel for those who can't make it to the events and ensures they stay up to speed with the collision industry's biggest shows."

Website visitors can access event content that will be updated throughout each day. In addition, subscribers to FenderBender magazine's daily newsletter will receive daily recap emails. A free newsletter subscription is available at fenderbender.com/FenderBender/Newsletters.

"FenderBenderLive.com brings the best collision-related content from NACE and SEMA straight to the industry during each day of the events," said Jake Weyer, editor of FenderBender magazine. "And we're very happy to have PPG, one of the most prominent names in the industry, as our sponsor for the second year in a row."

NACE, The International Autobody Congress & Exhibition, is Oct. 10-13 in New Orleans, and the SEMA Show is Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in Las Vegas.
