American Chemical Society Scholarships Plus
PPG founded the ASC scholarship program for underrepresented minorities pursuing chemistry or chemical engineering degrees.  

Carnegie Science Center
The Foundation's  partnership with the Carnegie Science Center enhances science education of local and regional students. 

Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium
Through a 10-year grant, PPG and the Foundation provide funding to help sustain the zoo.

It is with great pleasure that the PPG Industries Foundation celebrates its 60th year as an integral part of PPG Industries. From its founding in 1883 through the present day, PPG’s history reflects its dedication to enriching the communities where it has a presence. In fact, one of the first Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company donations on record in the late 1800s was to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - an organization we continue to support today... read more.
