At PPG, the health and well-being of our employees and their families is an integral part of our corporate culture. We believe that every person—regardless of age or physical condition—can reap the benefits of good health now and into the future by making the right decisions about nutrition, exercise and prevention.

Today’s busy lifestyles, complicated health care systems, and health information overload can make it difficult to live a healthy life. That’s why our goal is to make it easier for our employees to access the specific information, tools and programs they need to address their health issues.

At the core of our efforts is educating our employees on the Four Wellness Absolutes, which are the most critical aspects of good health. These are supported by our Ten Keys to a Healthier Lifestyle, which focus on those actions that are scientifically proven to have a positive impact on health.

All PPG employees have access to an anonymous online health risk assessment (HRA) to help them identify their specific health issues, develop a personalized improvement plan and track their progress toward achieving a healthy lifestyle. Our medical staff also is available to provide one-on-one support.



PPG locations around the world offer onsite wellness programs and events tailored to their employees’ needs and schedules. Examples include screenings (blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, etc.), mammograms, Weight Watchers® at Work, exercise and nutrition classes, smoking cessation assistance and nutrition and fitness challenges.


Through these and other PPG culture of health initiatives, our employees can add years to their life and life to their years.
