PPG’s objective is to safely distribute products anywhere in the world and in compliance with applicable regulations.

To carry out this objective, PPG adheres to the principles of Responsible Care® and strives for continuous improvement in supply chain safety performance. This is done by characterizing risk, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective risk reduction measures. PPG partners with suppliers, carriers, distributors and customers to operate safely, monitor performance, and develop improvement strategies. Shipments are managed by well-trained associates, and tools and resources are provided to facilitate the process.

PPG has an emergency plan to respond to supply chain incidents throughout the world. A global program has been established to report and investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. In addition, PPG has programs and people in place to respond to customer questions or concerns regarding the safe use, distribution, or disposal of our products.

The PPG compliance assurance program examines global supply chain practices and emergency response capabilities, and recommends improvements as necessary.
