At PPG we are committed to protecting your privacy. If you are reading this statement, you have most probably shared with PPG some personal data that our company needs to maintain the business relationship with you.
The personal data you have provided will be processed by the PPG company that you maintain commercial business relationship with or the company that issued the invoice to you ("PPG" or "Company"). Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of managing and ensuring adequate performance of the contractual relation with you. Your personal data may be also necessary for compliance with legal obligations to which the Company is subject. Without your personal data the contractual relationship could not be performed.
Likewise, PPG may be required to disclose some personal data to the competent public administration or judicial authority when necessary for the fulfilment of any legal provisions (such as for compliance with mandatory tax regulations).
Your personal data will be stored during the term of the contractual relationship, and once it expires, your personal data will be kept dully blocked during the statute of limitations of any liabilities that may arise as a consequence of the processing, making them available only to public administrations, courts and judges.
Your personal data may be transferred to some countries located outside the European Union and/or European Economic Area, which may not offer an adequate level of data protection. In those cases, PPG ensures that appropriate measures are in place for compliance with data protection laws in relation to transfer of personal data to those jurisdictions.
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to automated individual decision-making, by writing to the e-mail address dp-eu@ppg.com, alongside a proof of your identity, i.e. a copy of your ID card, or passport, or any other valid identifying document. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the Company fails to comply with its data protection obligations.
