CA 1000 - Mastinox® Non-Chromate Corrosion Inhibitive Jointing Compound

CA 1000 is a non-curing non-chromate* corrosion inhibitive jointing compound with a service range from -65°F to 240°F with short excursions up to 275°F. It acts as an effective barrier against corrosion on aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals. This one-part epoxy capped PPG PERMAPOL® polysulfide compound is a thixotropic paste applied by brush or spatula.

CA 1000 is a non-curing, non-chromate corrosion inhibitive compound. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 240°F (116°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals. The compound remains permanently mastic after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels, both jet fuel and aviation gas. CA 1000 is a one-part, epoxy capped, PERMAPOL® polysulfide compound. The material is a thixotropic paste suitable for application by brush or spatula. *Chromium is not intentionally added in the formulation of this product.
