P/S 870® Class A Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant
PPG P/S 870 Class A sealant is a corrosion inhibitive product with a service range from -65°F to 250°F, with short excursions up to 275°F. This two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound acts as a barrier against corrosion on aluminum alloys. It maintains elastomeric properties after exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas and is easily applied by extrusion gun or spatula.

P/S 870 Class A corrosion inhibitive sealant has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals. The cured sealant maintains elastomeric properties after limited exposure to both jet fuel and avation gas.
P/S 870 Class A sealant is a two-part, manganese dioxide cured polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for application by brush in thickness up to 25 mils. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
