Spectracron® Splash Liquid System

PPG's SPECTRACRON® Splash is a first-of-its-kind solution for composite bathtubs and sinks that provides a protective finish in color and gloss ranges not available on the market until now.   

The two-coat liquid system is comprised of a reinforced base coat that adds color, strength and durability to the substrate, followed by an unpigmented protective topcoat that seals the base and provides customized gloss levels that range from satin to high-gloss finishes. 

Spectracron Splash is available globally in standard colors with customizable options. 

Kitchen and bath products: 

  • SBond: a thin-film metal pretreatment developed on proprietary technology that provides good paint adhesion on steel, stainless steel (S10) and aluminum substrates. 
  • Ultrax UT29: a low silicate liquid alkaline cleaner developed for use in multi-metal cleaning systems 
  • Ultrax UT14 AWS: a liquid alkaline cleaner designed to remove mill oils, drawing and stamping oils, synthetic lubricants and rust preventatives from aluminum and magnesium substrates
