1. What This Warranty Covers
We, PPG Advanced Surface Technologies LLC (referred to as "we," "us," or "the Company"), offer a Limited Warranty for our PPG STREAM™ Clear Film. This warranty covers defects such as yellowing, cracking, crazing, and fading for 10 years from the date of professional installation. Please note that this warranty is only valid for products installed by professionals that follow PPG’s recommended installation methods and is applicable in the United States and Canada only.
2. What We Will Do
If you experience any manufacturing defects during the warranty period, we will either repair or replace the product at no cost to you. This includes both parts and labor. If we choose to replace the product, we will have an authorized installer handle the removal and reinstallation. Please remember that any replacement will not extend your original warranty period.
3. How to Claim Warranty Service
To make a warranty claim, first contact your installer. You will need:
- Your completed warranty card (filled out by the installer at the time of installation)
- A copy of your original purchase receipt that shows PPG STREAM™ film was installed
- A detailed description of the defect
You must notify the authorized installer who performed the installation and provide your name, phone number, address, the product involved, and the nature of the defect.
4. What Is Not Covered?
This warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- Improper installation or handling
- Misuse or abuse of the product
- Damage from accidents, vandalism, or external forces such as rocks or road debris
- Products that were installed with visible defects at the time of installation, including but not limited to scrapes and chips to the painted surface
- Stains, scratches, or water spots from improper cleaning techniques
- Non-automotive applications
- Application on any unpainted surfaces
5. Important Limitations
We are not responsible for any indirect incidental, consequential, reliance, statutory, special, punitive or exemplary damages or losses, including lost profits or business opportunities. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
PPG Disclaims any other warranty not provided herein, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
