In 2025, we advanced against our 2030 commitments by expanding sustainably advantaged products, improving operational efficiency, and reducing environmental impacts across our value chain.

Renewable energy expansion
A solar installation at the Coatings Services plant in Querétaro, Mexico supplies 61% of the facility's annual energy needs. The project strengthens energy independence and avoids approximately 450 metric tons of CO₂e each year.

Sustainable marine performance
PPG SIGMAGLIDE® 2390 is a biocide‑free fouling‑release marine coating that helps vessel owners improve efficiency while reducing fuel use and emissions. When applied with electrostatic application, the coating enhances hull performance, delivering power savings of up to 20% and reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 35% compared to traditional antifouling coatings.

Community engagement
In 2025, PPG celebrated 10 years of the COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program, marking a decade of revitalizing schools and other community spaces where we live and work. Building on this momentum, PPG is extending the program for an additional 10 years and committing $15 million to support the next decade of community beautification and engagement.
