Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Robert Massy is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at PPG. He leads PPG's global human resources function, including talent management, leadership development, capacity building, integration and belonging, workforce and workplace analytics and insights, as well as labor and employee relations.
With more than 20 years of experience, Massy has held senior positions across various industries and regions, where he has enhanced stakeholder value and economic performance through excellence in human resources.
Prior to joining PPG in March 2024, he spent nearly a decade as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer at Westinghouse Electric Company.
Before his tenure at Westinghouse, Massy held increasingly responsible roles at Weatherford International, initially as Regional Head of Talent in the Asia-Pacific region and later as Global Head of Talent and Development in the United States. Prior to Weatherford, Massy built his HR career in various roles in Singapore and London.
Growing up in Ireland, Massy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Behavior in Organizations/HR from Lancaster University, United Kingdom (UK), and a Master of Business Administration from the University of East London, UK. Additionally, he completed the Executive Management Program at INSEAD in Paris.
Massy is currently a member of the board of trustees for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
