Throughout 2026, the PPG Foundation is marking the 75th anniversary of the PPG Foundation in the U.S.
For Malesia Dunn, executive director, PPG Foundation, corporate global social responsibility, it’s more than a milestone year, it’s a recognition of decades of partnerships, commitment and impact.
In the U.S., the PPG Foundation is our primary grantmaking organization and our vehicle to help others through partnerships with local and national organizations in the areas where our employees live and work.
"For 75 years, the PPG Foundation has lived our promise to protect and beautify PPG communities by building meaningful partnerships and creating lasting impact. As our communities’ needs evolve, the PPG Foundation is right alongside our partners and neighbors, supporting and growing with them.”
According to Malesia, the anniversary year gives us an opportunity to reflect on how the foundation has evolved over the years and to continue to adapt with our partners.
“Over the past 75 years, the PPG Foundation has invested over $265 million. In recent years, many of our investments ensure our partners can set up local students for success in STEM fields and skilled trades. Just as technology, job markets and industry needs evolve, so do the needs in our communities.”
Dunn continued, “From major natural disasters, to learning during COVID, to emerging needs in educating the next generation of environmental sustainability leaders, when we look back at major moments that defined our history over the past 75 years, the PPG Foundation has been a constant in our communities.”
