CERTIFIEDFIRST® is a network of the best independent bodyshops selected by PPG for their high standards and ability to provide customers with best-in-class service and repairs.

The network was established in North America in 2000 and arrived in Europe in 2003.

Main Activities

Technical Audit and Action Plan

We provide a technical snapshot of current business operations which helps to identify areas with potential for improvement. Bodyshop owners and managers are then given a personalized action plan and are supported by PPG technicians to implement the suggested changes.

Benchmark Report

By collecting bodyshop data, we generate an economic report that analyses business performance and provides improvement projections by benchmarking against similar bodyshops. After analysis of this report by PPG consultants, CertifiedFirst bodyshops receive a detailed action plan that focuses on increasing the overall business performance.

Lifetime Warranty on Paint

As part of the CertifiedFirst network, bodyshops have the opportunity to achieve certification and become authorised to offer the PPG lifetime paint performance warranty.

Training

A comprehensive training programme for bodyshop owners, advisors, estimators and painters. Managerial and technical training is offered for at all levels in the bodyshop.

Customer Satisfaction

A customer satisfaction survey helps bodyshops to understand the current level of customer satisfaction as well as providing useful suggestions on strengths and potential areas for improvement.
