D8501 | DP4000-2K PRIMER WHITE -G1
DP4000 (D8501, D8505, D8507) is the most productive primer system on the market.
It is the only primer to remove the need for sanding, both in preparation before undercoating and sanding after undercoating.
Its innovative technology delivers outstanding flow, which results in excellent appearance and hold out of the topcoat when the job is complete.

D8501, D8505, D8507 2K Primers DP4000
DP4000 2K Primers are developed using the latest priming technology and, when used in combination with Envirobase High Performance basecoats and Deltron Progress UHS topcoats, can optimise the priming process in practice. They are designed to deliver a high-quality final finish comparable to that achieved with sandable primers, but without the need to sand before or after application. Excellent application properties, very even levelling and outstanding surface holdout are the main pillars of this product’s performance.
Thanks to exceptional adhesion characteristics, which allow the elimination of sanding of electrophoretic (E-coat) substrates during surface preparation, DP4000 can deliver a very fast priming process for new panels. The DP4000 primer can be overcoated directly from 15 minutes or up to 5 days after application, without the need to sand the surface. This makes it possible to prime new panels in advance, in batches and with minimal preparation. Subsequently, the new panels can be stored and prepared for the topcoating process at the same time as the remaining parts of the vehicle.
An electrocoat surface damaged by minor scratches, as well as deeper grooves reaching down to the substrate, does not need to be treated with a coat of etch primer before applying DP4000. The strong adhesion and anti-corrosion properties of the product make it possible to eliminate this step.
