Senior Vice President, Aerospace
Sam Millikin is senior vice president, Aerospace, and a member of the company’s operating committee.
Sam joined PPG in 1989 and has progressed through various roles of increasing responsibility during his more than 35 years with the company. This included roles in account management, sales and marketing within PPG’s specialty coatings and materials business. In 2013, Millikin joined PPG’s aerospace packaging business as global platform business manager where he was responsible for strategy development, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain and engineering/product development. He was named global platform director for PPG’s aerospace sealants and packaging business in 2017 where he managed all aspects of this business. In 2020, Millikin was appointed to global platform director of PPG’s aerospace coatings and sealants business.
In his current role, Millikin leads PPG’s global Aerospace business, guiding the strategy and customer engagement across commercial, military and general aviation sectors.
Millikin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.
