PPG’s DURANAR® ADS (Air-Dry System) coatings offer the proven durability of factory-applied fluoropolymer coatings with the flexibility of on-site application. Duranar ADS enables the renewal of weathered curtain walls, window frames and metal facades without costly panel replacement using a variety of application methods, including brush, roller or spray. This innovative system combines decades of PPG expertise in high-performance coatings with advanced air-dry fluoropolymer technology, ensuring exceptional resistance to ultraviolet radiation, chalking and environmental degradation.
Developed for touch up of both powder and liquid coatings, Duranar ADS can be used on FGIA/AAMA 2603, 2604 and 2605 factory applied coil and extrusion coatings. Its ultra-durable chemistry provides long-term performance in even the harshest climates. The system is available in a wide range of colors, glosses and effects—including solids, metallics, micas and color-shifting pigments—providing architects with unparalleled design freedom while maintaining the integrity of the building envelope.
