Amy Ericson reinforces PPG’s commitment to customers and long-term growth in China

During a recent visit to China, Amy Ericson met with government officials in Suzhou and Kunshan and engaged with several key customers, reinforcing PPG’s long-standing commitment to the region.

Discussions with local officials focused on continued investment, innovation, smart manufacturing and green development, reflecting the shared priorities that have supported PPG’s strong presence in the Greate Suzhou area over many years.

Ericson also visited key customers, including CMHI, Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering, Jiangsu CUMT Dazheng Surface Engineering Technology, Shandong Shipping, Penglai Dajin Offshore and Hengli Heavy Industries Group. In these meetings, customers emphasized the value they place on PPG not only for its coating technologies, but also for its technical service, responsiveness and long-term partnership approach.

The discussions also highlighted opportunities for continued collaboration, including targeted technical support, new product solutions, supply and service stability, and closer engagement on upcoming projects.

The government and customer meetings emphasized the strength of PPG’s position in China and the importance of leadership and engagement in building trust, advancing cooperation and creating long-term value. The visit reinforced China’s strategic importance to PPG, supported by strong customer relationships and continued investment.
