PPG SIGMACOVER® 809 is a high-performance epoxy primer (or buildcoat) that protects steel structures from the damaging effects of corrosion in extreme environmental conditions.

Developed for use across many industries, PPG SIGMACOVER® 809 meets ISO 12944 C5VH and CX extreme corrosion protection standards and extends the service life of both onshore and offshore steel structures.

PPG SIGMACOVER® 809 epoxy primer provides excellent corrosion protection to steel structures in the oil, gas, chemical and renewable energy industries, as well as to steel infrastructures.

Oil, gas, and chemical industries

Ideal for new construction, maintenance and surface tolerance repairs to steel structures requiring protection in harsh environments. For example:
