AMERCOATĀ® 1202 is an ultra high solids, direct-to-metal, two-component epoxy coating specifically developed for rail, transportation, and infrastructure applications. This product provides a high gloss finish and is uniquely designed to maintain its dark black appearance even with prolonged exterior weathering, resisting chalking and fading. It features fast dry times for rapid topcoating, contributing to efficient project schedules. The coating has low VOC and low HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants), promoting environmental compliance and a safer application environment. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and excellent splash chemical resistance, providing robust protection for critical assets. The product is certified according to ISO 12944-6 C4 Medium.
