AMERCOATĀ® 235 is a two-component, multi-purpose phenalkamine cured epoxy primer/buildcoat which delivers good corrosion protection in both salt and fresh water immersion and corrosive chemical environments. It exhibits good adhesion even to damp surfaces and is surface tolerant, making it compatible with water jetted surfaces. It is qualified for NAVSEA Mil-PRF-23236(D) Class 7, Type V, Grade B and C, NAVSEA Mil-PRF-24647 underwater hull, and Marintek Class B1 for ballast tanks. It is also tested by NOHC as suitable for grain storage containers and meets USDA criteria for incidental food contact.
