KLD Series Epoxy Hi-Build Enamel is a two-component, high-build polyamide epoxy enamel. It is formulated for a high-build, single-coat application and provides excellent chemical, abrasion, and direct impact resistance for interior exposures. This enamel is specifically used as a topcoat for concrete and steel surfaces in Coating Service Level I areas of Nuclear Power Plants, where it is designed to withstand radiation, decontamination, and loss of coolant accidents. It is qualified per ANSI N101.2 and ASTM D3911 for this critical service.
