PPG NOVAGUARDĀ® 5041 GF is a two-component, glass flake-filled epoxy novolac coating known for its excellent resistance to acids, caustics, detergents, and other corrosive materials. It also provides good resistance to thermal and mechanical shock. This low-odor coating has the benefit of bonding to dry and damp concrete, wood, metal, tile, terrazzo, and existing epoxy and urethane coatings. It is typically used for primary containment applications, areas that require high chemical immersion resistance, and splash and spill areas, as well as in challenging environments like paper and pulp mills.
