PPG HI-TEMP™ 900 is a two-component ambient cured multi-polymeric heat resistant primer/coat for new build applications. It is designed to prevent corrosion under insulation (CUI) of carbon steel and stainless steel. It is a scratch and mar resistant coating for ease of transport that provides long-term protection in a single-coat application. It is formulated to prevent chloride induced stress corrosion cracking of austenitic and duplex stainless steel. This coating demonstrates cyclic temperature resistance from -196°C (-320°F) to 320°C (608°F), resistance to thermal shock/cycling and intermittent immersion and boiling water, as well as resistance to dry operating windows up to 482°C (900°F).
