- If the substrate temperature drops below 5°C (41°F) until 0°C (32°F), the wintergrade type should be used (see 7414WG)

SIGMACOVER™ 690 is a two-component, high-solids, aluminum pigmented, polyamine cured, modified epoxy primer/coating, available in aluminum light and dark color with a semi-gloss finish. Designed for maintenance, it offers good flow properties and is tolerant of lower grades of steel preparation. It is compatible with most aged, good-adhering coatings and provides good recoatability with epoxy and polyurethane paints. It also cures well at temperatures as low as 5°C (41°F) and provides good impact and abrasion resistance.
