STEELGUARD™ 651 is a one-component, thin-film, waterborne intumescent coating formulated for fire protection of structural steelwork. It is available in white with a matt finish. Its key benefit is providing up to 120 minutes of protection from cellulosic fires. It is ideal for on-site application and suitable for internal environments (C1, C2, C3), where for dry internal settings, no topcoat is required. Being waterborne, it is a preferred choice when solvent use is restricted for health and safety reasons.
