STEELGUARD™ 951 is a two-component, 100% solids, epoxy intumescent passive fire protective coating for structural steelwork, guarding against cellulosic fires. It is light gray with a matt finish and can be topcoated with a wide range of aesthetic finishes. A major benefit is providing up to 240 minutes of protection from cellulosic fires. It is a highly durable and chemically resistant coating suitable for both internal and external use, offering excellent corrosion protection even without a topcoat in X and C5 environments. It supports direct-to-metal application and does not require reinforcing mesh.
