A decade in the making: Colorful Communities program year 10 review

10 years of color. 10 years of joy. With a decade of the COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program behind us, our employee volunteers and leaders are looking to the next 10 years. 

We spent 2025 completing more than 40 projects around the world, each one celebrating the milestones and moments that have beautified and revitalized our local communities.

A year in review 

To celebrate the meaningful ways the Colorful Communities program has spread joy and positivity to our communities, we marked the milestone throughout 2025: 

• 10 flagship Colorful Communities projects served as pillars in the celebration. • PPG and the PPG Foundation provided $1 million total in celebration grant funding to 100 past and current Colorful Communities partners around the world. Learn more: Celebration grant update one and two.

What’s next 

PPG will extend the Colorful Communities program for an additional 10 years and committed $15 million to celebrate the next decade of beautifying and revitalizing communities.
