In Muret, France, 30+ volunteers from our Aerospace business transformed the courtyard of the Centre Hospitalier de Muret’s geriatric department, with help from the hospital's staff. The team painted vibrant designs on the ground and a central bridge, turning the space into a safe, stimulating environment that supports physical activity and cognitive engagement, especially for patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Beyond paint, we also funded the full renovation, including landscaping, new plants and outdoor furniture.
In Ipswich, United Kingdom, PPG and local volunteers brighten the grounds at Thomas Wolsey Ormiston Academy, a purpose-built school supporting students with a range of physical and sensory needs. Over two days, the team cleaned and painted outdoor spaces, helped with small repairs and added color and care across the school’s grounds. With more than 300 liters of JOHNSTONE’S PAINT™ by PPG in use, the school also received a fresh coat of color inside as professionals refreshed classrooms and restrooms.
A shelter in Vojkovice, Czechia, for retired guide dogs and puppies in training – run by our charity partner Vodicí Pes – was refreshed using PRIMALEX™ paints by PPG.
In Budapest, Hungary, color is bringing new energy to learning. Using HÉRA™ paints by PPG, volunteers came together to refresh the Kispesti Móra Ferenc Unified Institute for Special Education. From repainted classrooms and common spaces to a vibrant mural inspired by fairytales, the transformation now offers 350 students and teachers a more welcoming place to learn, grow and imagine.
In Valencia, Spain, more than 80 volunteers brought C.E.I.P Vila d’Alaquàs School back to life after last year’s floods – repainting façades and playgrounds with Seigneurie™ paints by PPG and teaming up with artist Rosa Ramón and Grupo Tricolor to add vibrant murals and fun floor games.
Meanwhile, near Madrid, volunteers used SEIGNEURIE™ and BONDEX™ paints by PPG to renew the Women’s Cultural Association and Senior Citizens’ Association building in Camarma de Esteruelas, Spain. Fresh walls, a new mural, updated ramps and a brighter playground now give more than 150 people a safer and more inspiring place to connect. Learn more.
In Saint-Just-en-Chaussée, France, PPG employees and community volunteers transformed École Maternelle l’Abbaye preschool. Over two weekends, nearly 100 volunteers from PPG and the local community refreshed classrooms, hallways and outdoor spaces and added a mural designed to spark imagination and creativity – all using PEINTURES GAUTHIER™ and SEIGNEURIE™ paint by PPG for their durability, sustainability and performance in both indoor and outdoor spaces. In partnership with Urban Forum Kazakhstan, our volunteers created a vibrant mural in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Local artists were invited to rethink the role of water in the life of the city, leading to the winning mural concept, titled “Caring is Cool.” It celebrates water as a shared community resource and promotes sustainable urban design. The artwork stands beside a scenic Almaty waterway, symbolizing care, creativity and sustainability. Beyond the mural, the initiative “URBAN WATER 2025” also featured open lectures and a workshop for architects, city officials and community members to explore innovative approaches to water management and climate-resilient urban planning.
Our volunteers in Likavka, Slovakia, brought new life to an unused, former café space within the LIKAVA Social Services Center by transforming it into a modern Therapeutic Zone – a place designed to support emotional well-being, creativity and memory among senior residents.
As part of PPG’s partnership with AFM-Téléthon, a Colorful Communities project in Nice, France, transformed the Pediatric Medicine Consultation Department at the Hôpital Universitaire Pédiatrique Lenval, one of the most prominent children’s hospitals in southern France. This renovation created a more welcoming, calm and inspiring atmosphere for children, families and healthcare professionals alike. Meanwhile in Garches, France, our volunteers updated key areas of the HDJ Pédiatrique BREZIN at the Raymond Poincaré Hospital to create a joyful, inspiring and inclusive environment for young patients living with neuromuscular or neurological conditions who visit the hospital daily for rehabilitation and adapted schooling.
In Staffanstorp, Sweden, transformed the Kyrkbyns Förskola preschool’s activation room and adjoining reading nook. The room is used daily for movement, play, and gymnastics, and the project helped refresh and brighten the space. A forest theme was incorporated with artwork featuring Nordic animals and greenery using high-durability ALCRO™ paints by PPG suitable for active preschool environments.
Asia Pacific
Over four days, more than 70 PPG volunteers rolled up their sleeves to brighten the Very Special Kids headquarters in Victoria, Australia, with TAUBMANS™ paint by PPG. From entryways to kitchens, we added fresh color to the spaces where 700 families find care, comfort and support.
In Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, China, PPG employee volunteers revitalized the Chongzhen Middle School’s stadium and library and created colorful murals. They also led a color aesthetics lesson that helped students understand the power and meaning of color, inspiring them to express their individuality, creativity and imagination through art.
Latin America
Our employee volunteers teamed up with volunteers from our customer, Toyota Guanajuato, for a project at APAC, IAP. in Celaya, Mexico. With a goal of creating a more welcoming, positive environment for patients, families and staff at the rehabilitation center, we used our PPG Comex products to bring vibrant colors and uplifting murals to life. For more than 900 students in Santa María Coronango, Puebla, Mexico, their school is now brighter and more inspiring. We teamed up with Volkswagen de México to refresh the classrooms, cafeteria and common areas of Technical Secondary School No. 45 using our COMEX™ Vinimex Clásica and Pro 1000 Plus paints by PPG.
In Américo Brasiliense, Brazil, PPG employee volunteers teamed up with the local mayor, municipal authorities and community members, bringing 100 people together at the Virgilio Gomes School. We painted all exterior walls, teachers’ rooms, the library and hallway, creating a more cheerful and welcoming environment for the 800 children who attend the school. Learn more.

At the Sedalia Elementary in Greensboro, North Carolina, our volunteers transformed a hallway and bathrooms and added a mural. School principal, Yvonne Eason, said, “This was an amazing experience transforming the look of the school to match the culture and great success occurring in the building. The Sedalia team is greatly appreciative of all your hard work and dedication. Staff were completely in awe of the mural and happy to have brighter walls throughout the building.”
